Yes! It is already the one-year anniversary of this website ZOOSnippets. And WOW, what did this first year went fast. One year ago (08.06.19) I launched this website with the ambition to make helpful knowledge available for all (zoo) animal keepers. A platform where keepers could search for information about multiple zoo-related topics, practical handouts, and links to interesting papers. An inspirational platform for environmental enrichment design, enclosure design, and much more.

If we succeeded? Well, that is up to you, the community. But at least we can talk about a community. Combined over all platforms there are +2800 people following ZOOSnippets. That's AWESOME! Never thought that this would be such a success. And all you people enjoying the information we spread gives me more energy to continue collecting, bundling, writing and sharing information.

I've written a blog article about why a (finally) started a blogsite one year ago to celebrate this milestone: about the process and the development. I hope you check it out! Thank you to all fantastic people backing up this website and the involvement of you on all platforms. There are many ideas left for the future, so we are not done yet!
